Политика возвратов
Обновлено: 21 августа 2026
Английская версия этих политик является официальной для покупок, выставления счетов и платёжной обработки.
This Refund policy explains when LicScript Softwares will refund money you paid us, how to ask, and how long it takes. It applies to purchases made through LicScript invoices, checkout, and storefronts we operate, together with our Terms of service.
If a product checkout page states a different refund window for that SKU, that checkout text controls for that order. Related: Privacy policy.
1. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with:
- the email used to pay;
- order or invoice number;
- product or service name;
- reason for the request.
You may also use the contact form. We typically reply within 1–2 business days. Please contact us before opening a chargeback or PayPal dispute so we can resolve it faster.
2. Self-hosted software licenses (one-time)
Digital licenses are delivered electronically. You may request a full refund within fourteen (14) days of payment if all of the following are true:
- the license has not been activated, bound to a domain, or used in production;
- you have not downloaded the full source or installer package (or you confirm you have deleted all copies);
- you have not already received substantial implementation assistance beyond a basic install question.
After the 14-day window, or after activation / download / use, one-time licenses are non-refundable, because the software has been delivered and cannot be “returned” in a meaningful way. We may offer a goodwill credit at our discretion.
If a product store (for example VPNBilling) publishes a longer unused-license window (such as 30 days), that store’s policy applies to purchases completed there.
3. Managed hosting and subscriptions
- New subscription: if you have not used the hosted service in a meaningful way, you may request a refund within seven (7) days of the first payment.
- After you have used the service (logged in, onboarded users, or run production traffic): the current billing period is non-refundable.
- Renewals: you can cancel future renewals at any time. We do not refund time already billed unless required by law or we caused a material, unremedied outage.
- Cancel by emailing [email protected] before the next renewal date. We will confirm the end date in writing.
4. Custom engineering and retainers
- Before work starts: prepaid discovery or project deposits are refundable in full if we have not begun work.
- After work starts: we refund only the unused portion. Hours or milestones already delivered are charged at the agreed rate and are not refundable.
- Completed milestones that you accepted (or failed to reject within the review period in the statement of work) are not refundable.
- If we cannot deliver a contracted milestone for reasons solely on our side, we will refund the amount paid for that undelivered milestone.
5. What is not refundable
- Activated, downloaded, or used software licenses after the window in section 2.
- Managed service time already consumed.
- Domain, SSL, or third-party fees we paid on your behalf.
- Chargeback or dispute fees levied by a processor, if you lose the dispute.
- Orders we reasonably believe are fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of the Terms.
- Change of mind after a custom design has been approved and built, except unused prepaid hours.
6. Cryptocurrency payments
Crypto payments are confirmed on-chain and are more expensive to reverse. If we approve a refund on a crypto order, we may pay:
- the USD amount originally invoiced, by a method we support (for example PayPal or bank), or
- the original asset, minus network fees, at our discretion.
Exchange-rate movement between payment and refund is not compensated. If the processor marks the payment unconfirmed or underpaid, that is not a completed purchase and will be handled as a failed payment, not a refund of goods.
7. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method when the processor allows it. Processing usually takes 5–10 business days after we approve, plus any extra time your bank or PayPal needs to show the credit. We will email confirmation when we submit the refund.
Partial refunds may be issued when only part of an order is eligible.
8. Cancellations vs refunds
Cancelling a subscription stops future charges. It is not the same as a refund of money already paid. You keep access until the end of the paid period unless we suspend for breach.
9. Failed delivery
If payment cleared and we fail to deliver a license key, download, or hosted access within two (2) business days without a documented cause on your side (wrong email, unpaid extra, missing domain), you may request a full refund or re-delivery.
10. Chargebacks
A chargeback is a dispute with your bank or PayPal, not a refund request to us. Opening a chargeback without contacting us first may lead to immediate suspension of licenses and hosted accounts while the case is open. If the chargeback is reversed in our favor, access may be restored only after outstanding amounts and any processor fees are settled.
We encourage you to email [email protected] so we can refund or fix the issue without a dispute.
11. Consumer law
If mandatory consumer protection law in your country gives you a longer cooling-off period or a non-waivable right to withdraw from a distance contract for unused digital goods, that law prevails to the extent it applies. For digital content, many laws allow the cooling-off right to end once delivery starts with your consent; activating or downloading a license is such consent.
